The Nespresso Vertuo Next Vs Vertuoplus offer two great ways to make sure everyone in your home gets the perfect cup every time. But which one is right for you? Let’s compare these two machines to determine which is right for your needs!

If you’re looking to get the most out of your coffee experience, then you might want to consider investing in a Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Maker. The new Nespresso Vertuoplus has all of the features that made its predecessor very popular, but with some upgrades for added convenience and ease-of-use.

1. Nespresso

Nespresso is a system of coffee machines that produce espresso and other coffee drinks by heating water to approximately 203 degrees Fahrenheit, pushing the water through finely ground coffee. The machine results in an average cup of coffee containing about 110 milligrams of caffeine.

Nespresso machines are widely sold at grocery stores, electronics stores and department stores throughout the world. Sales began in 1986 with the Nespresso C100 espresso machine; six years later, Nestlé partnered with Krups to create new models. Various other companies have since created their own machines based on Nespresso’s technology.

With this system, people choose either capsules or loose coffee grounds (or occasionally both). With capsules, one inserts a cartridge into the machine; afterward, the capsule can be disposed of instead of emptied into a coffee filter. With loose grounds, one puts the grounds in the machine; they are then dispensed through a small spout at the bottom of the machine.

Nespresso is not an espresso maker per se; it does not make traditional espresso drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. Instead, Nespresso produces “cups” of approximately 1 fluid ounce (30 milliliters) that contain espresso.

The capsules for Nespresso machines come in six flavors: Original Espresso, Intenso, Decaffeinato Intenso, Espresso Ristretto, Lungo and Torrado. They also sell 6-packs containing 6 capsules (6 different flavors).

There are three types of Nespresso machines: Original Line, VertuoLine and ProLine. Each type produces espresso with either capsules or ground coffee. The original line is generally the cheapest; it has one button for preparing 1-ounce espresso shots. The ProLine features a built-in metal cup warmer and other high-end options, while the Vertuoline offers single-servings in addition to its other regular features.

The Nespresso System was invented by Frenchman Jean Louis Neopolitain D’Espenay back in 1981 but was not introduced until 1986 with the C100 Espresso machine which remains an icon today. In 1990 he sold his invention to Nestle who improved on his design and began to market it globally.

Today Nespresso machines and capsules are sold in more than 80 countries worldwide with the popular slogan “What else?” standing for convenience, ease of use, sophistication amongst other things. This system has changed how people make their Espresso Coffee at home giving them a quick easy way to make high quality coffee without having any technical knowledge about espresso making. This combined with the sleek iconic design of the machine makes Nespresso machines one of the must have pieces of equipment for any kitchen or office these days!

2. Pros And Cons Of Nespresso Maker Coffee

2.1 Pros Of Nespresso Coffee Maker

The Nespresso brand of coffee makers is highly popular and considered as the pioneer in vacuum brewing method. Most espresso lovers swear by its delicious taste and would never consider using any other machine for their daily morning cup. This article will give you a brief overview about the pros and cons of this amazing invention

– Water heats up fast:  Nespresso machines heat water faster than your typical coffee maker or stovetop espresso machine at home because it has a high-performance heating system. It only takes 35 seconds to get your first shot of steaming hot coffee from the moment you press the button until it’s ready to be served. The best part? You can even program your machine so that it heats water before turning on, and your first cup of espresso will be ready by the time you’re done showering and getting dressed.

A drawback is that some Nespresso machines heat up water way too fast, resulting in burnt coffee.

– The oils and crema: Using a vacuum brewing method leaves more room for essential oils and crema to stay within the beans. It results in bolder tasting coffee as compared to other traditional methods like drip or percolator. By drinking an espresso made from Nespresso, it may feel like there are no bitter aftertastes at all because these strong flavors are filtered through lower pressure instead of higher pressure which often results in bitter aftertasting coffee.

– The portion control: With this machine, you can make only the amount of coffee you need at a time because you control the quantity and size of your drink. Want to drink one single espresso? No problem! But if you want to make a nice cup for your friend, too, there’s no need to wait for an entire pot or glass carafe

– The capsules: One great thing about Nespresso is that it comes with disposable aluminum pods which means no cleaning up after making coffee. Simply put them in the trash and go on with your day. Some people like buying perfectly ripe fruits, spending hours prepping for a party they have every weekend, but most would much rather spend their time doing things other than washing dishes, so this benefit makes Nespresso very popular even with the most reluctant of people.

– The sleek design: Most of us have limited countertop space, which is why kitchen appliances come in all different shapes and sizes. Nespresso machines are compact and slim, so you can expect them to take up as little as one square foot of your precious kitchen real estate!A drawback is that only a few brands offer full color touchscreen display where users can choose from hundreds of combinations without having to scroll through several pages on a menu.

The small size doesn’t allow for much water storage capacity, resulting in frequent refilling – this was observed by an owner who lives alone and wanted to make five cups per day.

Additionally, many travelers find it difficult to bring their device along while traveling for work or pleasure.

– The milk frother: These machines come with a built-in milk frother, which is activated every time you make a drink, so you never have to worry about asking your guests how they take their drinks. You can expect hot and cold milk in seconds after pressing the button – perfect for Italian iced coffee lovers!A drawback is that it often takes several attempts to get the right amount of foam when preparing cappuccino because the tube tends to fill up with too much or not enough milk depending on how long one presses the button.

– The smell: Nothing beats waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Now imagine being able to do this without having to wait for an entire pot to be done! Simply wake up, take a quick shower and step out of bed ready to start your day.

– The ease of use: If you can read, you can make a professional looking cup of coffee in no time at all. Simply press the button and wait for the machine to do its work! Sometimes it works even better than a barista because they may not know how much water is required every single time in order to make a perfect espresso shot or cappuccino from memory.

A drawback is that many users complain that their machines end up leaking water after making drinks because they didn’t close the lid properly when they tried inserting milk. In addition, others complain about unevenly distributed froth or a lack thereof.

– The price: One major advantage is that this machine is significantly more affordable compared to other coffee makers which may be pricier yet provide fewer benefits, such as not being able to accommodate capsules from third-party brands.

2.2 Cons Of Nespresso Coffee Maker

Compared to traditional espresso machines, Nespresso makers can be expensive to purchase and maintain due to their small water tank capacity and lack of built-in frother or hot water dispenser which means more trips to the kitchen sink for refills.

Since all Nespresso brewers produce is coffee (no cappuccino or latte), you need a separate milk frother for that purpose which is an added cost.

Even though most Nespresso brewers have a frother, they usually don’t work as well as dedicated milk frothers and many customers complain about the quality of the foam it produces.

Nespresso machines are often criticized for being more difficult to clean than traditional espresso machines due to their small water tank capacity and lack of built-in hot water dispenser. Milks stick in nooks and crannies where they can be hard to remove without using a toothpick or other pointed device.

The Nespresso experience may not be for everyone because you’re locked into buying capsules since there’s no filter basket like traditional espresso makers offer. And you’ll need to keep purchasing new capsules as you run out or else you won’t be able to make anymore coffee until you reorder.

Nespresso brewers don’t produce anything but coffee which means no cappuccino and latte choices – only espresso. And if you enjoy those types of drinks, you’ll need a separate milk frother just like with Nespresso machines and that adds more expense and cleaning hassles than traditional espresso makers offer.

Since all Nespresso models are self-contained with tightly sealed capsules, the only way to clean them is to use an approved cleaner or wipe them down after each use with a damp cloth. Even then, they can still harbor bacteria if not cleaned often enough so this may turn off some customers who don’t want to deal with the hassle of extra cleaning.

Brewing can be very slow with some Nespresso models which is often attributed to the high pressure that’s required during extraction. This could put off customers who don’t have much patience especially if they’re used to watching traditional espresso machines drip out their morning cup within minutes.

Nespresso brewers are for individual use only and not great for making coffee for more than one person at a time unless you’re only serving espresso such as in cappuccino and latte drinks because those require more than just straight espresso shots.

Coffee quality is good but some people complain that it doesn’t compare favorably to what they get from traditional espresso machines since Nespresso brewers don’t offer a choice of cup size and the brewing time is longer than it takes for traditional espresso machines. Nespresso brewers also don’t heat their coffee up to optimal temperatures between extraction and serving so some customers say it seems unpleasantly cool when poured into cups.

5. Nespresso Vertuo Next vs VertuoPlus Coffee Maker Comparison

We’ve compared two coffee makers in the Nespresso family, they are the Vertuo Plus and Next.

Let’s take a closer look at these two models to see which one of them is better suited for your needs.

Each model offers several advantages over the other so let’s check out their features set by set to determine which one has more perks than the other.

Vertuo Next vs Plus – Comparison Overview

Out of all Nespresso machines, only these two offer adjustable brewing temperature control that lets you pick between 197°F (92°C) or an industry standard 201°F (94°C). The reason this might be useful is because some types of coffee require different optimal brewing temperature in order for it to release all its flavor. Once you’ve adjusted the temperature level, your beverage is brewed with the optimum temperature of water for each of the pod types (Espresso, Lungo, etc).

Nespresso Vertuo Next vs Plus – How do they perform?

Vertuo Plus has nine different automatic settings that can be personalized to fit your needs. You get three coffee strength levels and six size options available when using this machine. The Nespresso Vertuoline next model only comes with six pre-set sizes but it also gives you an option to choose between four coffee strengths. Both models are pretty energy-efficient in terms of power usage so this shouldn’t be an issue even if you leave them on for most of the day.

Vertuo Plus has a nice, big water tank on the back of it that can hold up to 54 ounces (1.6 liters) of liquid which is enough for about 10 cups before you need to refill it again. Vertuo Next comes with an even larger tank – 60-ounce one – so if you are planning on making multiple cups in a row, the next model will be more suitable for your needs. What’s especially great about these Nespresso coffee makers is that they have cleaning alerts built into their systems so whenever it’s time for descaling or decalcification, just run one of them through its process and you’re done. Cleaning options are available for both coffee makers but only the Next model has an automatic descaling option.

Vertuo Plus comes with a built-in milk frother so you can easily steam, froth or stir milk for your desired drink. It also makes hot water available on demand which is great if you like drinking tea – just summon some hot water and enjoy your cuppa! The Nespresso Vertuoline Next has no such feature because it was solely designed to make coffee, only coffee. If you want to heat up some milk or water then you either need to use the microwave oven or the stove top, but either way it defeats the purpose of having a one-touch coffee maker!

If you often entertain guests at home then both these models are capable enough to cater for larger groups of people too. They can produce up to eight cups of espresso in a matter of minutes which makes them great for hosting parties or entertaining small to medium-sized groups of people.

Vertuo Plus vs Next – Coffee and Espresso Quality

Both models make excellent drinks that embody the quality and flavor of Nespresso’s signature beverages. We don’t feel like we need to explain this further because if you’ve already had a taste of Nespresso coffee then you already know what we’re talking about, but we will say one thing: Vertuo Plus and Vertuo next go above and beyond in terms of exceptional drink quality!

All in all, it’s pretty clear that Vertuo Plus is the winner here by a very small margin over the Next model. This is because it has a few more useful features that can make your life easier, for example its variable temperature control. Also the fact that it has a built-in milk frother makes it stand out from its little brother which doesn’t come with such functionality even though they both have exactly the same coffee maker design and internal hardware.

Vertuo Plus  is an excellent choice if you plan on using the machine to entertain guests while Vertuo Next will be enough if you just need a one-touch coffee maker for yourself. The new brewing system in these machines represents a new era of Nespresso’s pod technology so whichever model you choose, we’re sure that you’ll enjoy every cup of it!

6. Nespresso Vertuo Next or VertuoPlus: Which to Buy?

Nespresso Vertuo is Nespresso’s line of coffee capsules featuring a double-walled container to help maintain your drink’s temperature. The original hard plastic container doesn’t do its job very well, but the new soft one does much better. Still not enough? Nespresso recently upgraded the entire system with their latest release, the VertuoLine.

The first thing that you need to know about this device is that these are not cheap machines, especially considering that they don’t come with a built-in grinder like other devices in its class. This might be fine for some people who are used to paying premium prices for what they get, but it might also turn others away who look at these products as an alternative option to the traditional drip coffee machine.

Check out Nespresso Vertuo machines, read their reviews and decide for yourself if they’re worth the price (and your counter space). They are probably the best single-serve coffee brewers on the market to date, but it all comes down to what you want or need from them.

The only real difference between the original Vertuoline and this newer version is that now you can brew two cups at once – which means twice as much money spent! For most people, it’s just not necessary unless you have a large family or serve coffee in your business. You can always just brew one cup at a time using the “one scoop” option, just like you would with any other brewer these days.

As far as the coffee quality goes, it is certainly very good. Nespresso has set the standard for what other single serve brewers are judged by and they keep that high standard with this machine. The Grand Cru’s taste better than any others that I’ve tried from some of those “other guys” but if you’re already a fan of them you probably won’t notice much difference. Overall, Nespresso machines make great tasting coffee and this one is no exception. If you’re willing to pay a premium price for your brewer then I’m sure you’ll be more than happy with it!

If money isn’t an issue for you, then go ahead and get the newer version of the Vertuoline. But if not…well, you can still buy the original and save yourself a few bucks.

If you’re ready to buy a coffee maker, it can be hard to choose between the Nespresso Vertuo Next and the Vertuo Plus. There are many factors that could sway your decision one way or another, but if price is an important factor for you then we recommend considering the Nespresso Vertuo next as this machine does not come with any additional features like milk frothing capability. You might also want to consider whether or not you will need an automatic cleaning cycle on your new purchase; both machines have this feature which makes them easier to maintain. Ultimately though, make sure whichever machine you decide on has all of the features that meet your needs so you don’t regret buying it later!
